SynGrow is somewhere people participate, not somewhere they consume content. Community is the infrastructure the rest of the ecosystem runs on.
Why community matters
Most of what determines a career — knowing which direction is viable, hearing about an opportunity early, getting honest feedback, finding someone who will vouch for you — travels through relationships. People without those relationships are not less capable; they are less connected. Community is how that gap closes.
Communities
Communities organise around a professional interest, capability domain, industry, place or shared challenge. They are where knowledge circulates between people doing similar work in different contexts.
Mentors and experts
Mentors offer contextual guidance to people navigating a decision or a transition. Experts contribute subject depth, instruction and critique. Both are governed contribution roles with expectations attached — not visibility badges.
Events
Meetups, workshops, webinars and gatherings are where a community becomes concrete. Public events appear on the Events page with their real dates and registration state.
Chapters
A chapter is a locally or institutionally anchored expression of the community. Chapters belong to the wider ecosystem rather than operating as independent copies of it.
Contributing
Contribution takes many forms: mentoring, sharing expertise, facilitating, organising events, supporting newcomers or helping a local chapter exist. If you want to contribute, the contact route below reaches the people building this.
