How discovery works
Discovery at SynGrow means understanding what you can already do, seeing which of those capabilities transfer, exploring directions that build on them, and reality-checking those directions against how the work is actually done. It is a thinking process supported by information and people — not a questionnaire that produces a verdict.
Career directions, not job adverts
A career direction describes a meaningful professional path: what people in it actually do, the contexts they work in, the capabilities it draws on and the routes people take into it. It is deliberately broader than a single vacancy, because directions outlast individual roles.
Capabilities and transferability
Capability is what you can understand, apply, adapt and demonstrate. Framing your experience as capability rather than job title usually widens the set of directions genuinely open to you, particularly across sectors.
Career transitions
Changing direction is rarely a single leap. It is normally a sequence of smaller, evidenced steps: adjacent roles, projects, practice, and relationships that make the next step visible. Discovery is intended to make that sequence explicit rather than leaving it to chance.
